UPDATE!!!!

8th Annual Foothills Growing Project

60 Acres have been purchased so far!

The Combines are Up and Running Harvest is on the Way!!

As the farming community faces another year of challenges with a drought and low yields, we hold onto the HOPE that we profess. We know that if we faithfully step out and do what the Lord is calling us to do, he will do more than we can imagine!

Though we may become discouraged about the shortcomings of our grain harvest we must not let that rob us of our JOY in knowing that God will complete this project! It is his!  We are reminded of this in Pastor Scott’s service last Sunday when he talked to us about the Joy and Peace in Believing.  We know that “he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” (Philippians 1:6)

As a church and community, there is still time to sponsor or donate towards an acre of crop inputs. Sponsorship and donations can be made payable to the Foothills Growing Project.  There are donation envelopes and brochures on the bulletin board shelf with more information.  Cheques can be mailed or dropped off at the church office (payable to Foothills Growing Project).  You can also E-transfer funds through fgpdonations@gmail.com.  If you have any questions, please contact Murray or Dawn Giles at (403)395-2161.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the HOPE we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:23-24)
