KING’S KIDS MINISTRY Ages 3-5 years
Scope of Ministry:
King’s Kids serves families in the church with young children by offering age-appropriate teaching for three to five year-olds during the Sunday morning service. Children are dismissed after the worship time, and before the message. The class provides a variety of music, crafts, games, verse memorization, and Bible stories. Kings Kids classes follow the Gospel Project curriculum (https://www.gospelproject.com/kids/), using the Preschool Worship Material.
Who’s Involved:
Parents and other volunteers from the congregation volunteer to lead the class on a rotating schedule throughout the year. There are also a few elementary-aged children and youth who volunteer their time to assist in the class. All curriculum materials are prepared by the Kings Kids Coordinator for the volunteers. All volunteers are screened and trained by our Children’s Advocate, and given the final approval by the Board of Elders before being allowed to work with the children – following our Plan to Protect policy (https://www.plantoprotect.com/en/home/).
