Scott Fisk

Lead Pastor

After ten years of teaching at a Christian school in Campbell River, BC, Scott and Danielle moved to High River in August 2012. Coming from a science background, Scott carries a passion for creation science, and loves to talk about the wonders of our amazing God, as He reveals Himself to us through creation and through His Word. Danielle taught elementary music and high school band and has continued her passion for music ministry through leading on worship teams and conducting the choir at HRBC. Together they have been blessed with three children, Jeshua, Talia and Jeriah, and enjoy participating in baseball, volleyball, waterskiing and most other sports. Their desire is that through every aspect of their lives they would grow to know Christ more, and to make Him known, to the praise of His glorious grace in Christ Jesus.

Shortly after, they moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Michael completed his B.A. in Humanities at the College at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon graduation they moved back to Alberta and Michael has been serving at High River Baptist since October 2013. Since coming to High River, Michael and Melissa have been blessed with three boys, AJ, Hudson, and Paton and one little girl named Annalee.
